Our Blade Runner RPG with Free League won two ENNIE Gold Awards (Best Layout & Design and Best Cartography), with Free League taking home the Fan Award for Best Publisher to boot.
Everybody knows that this game is near and dear to me, so I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to carve out a niche for our RPG and continue to grow the series over time. Numerous foreign-language localizations for the Core Rulebook and Starter Set are underway, and we recently announced our next two contributions to the RPG series hitting retail in the near future:
First up in Q4 2023 is CASE FILE #02: FIERY ANGELS, a new scenario book that delivers the same fully-immersive experience as CASE FILE #01 in our Starter Set. It was obnoxiously fun to bring LA 2037 to life at the game table with all those Esper photos, newspapers, brochures, and other in-world artifacts, so we’re delivering the same and then some for this new stand-alone Case File, which includes a fresh collection of premium handouts for your investigation as you delve deeper into the Wallace Corporation and the blurred boundaries of Replicant technology.
Then in 2024 is REPLICANT REBELLION, a new sourcebook that welcomes players to join the ranks of the Replicant Underground in Los Angeles 2037. Expanding the RPG beyond the scope of the Rep-Detect Unit was the #1 request, so we listened and flipped the script to deliver an intense experience where players run their own independent cell of the rebellion, eluding Blade Runners as they undertake a variety of operations for the cause.
Whether you want to continue taming the mean streets as Blade Runners with Fiery Angels or rebel against the system with Replicant Rebellion, the Blade Runner RPG series will offer new and exciting choices for all gamers to enjoy. And yes, I’ll be contributing to the core sourcebook as the lead setting writer again, so my apologies in advance.
